It offers convenient management of Theft Deterrent features, monitoring of Man Overboard alerts, and the ability to grant temporary access to family members or service personnel.
Developed by Mercury and Quicksilver, 1st Mate stands out as the world's pioneering engine-integrated system for man-overboard detection and proximity-based theft prevention. Through the utilization of a refined wearable device designed for up to 8 individuals, this innovative system can automatically shut down the engine or trigger an alarm in the event of a man overboard incident, and if required, can dispatch notifications to designated emergency contacts. Furthermore, by enforcing proximity restrictions via the wearable fob, 1st Mate either deactivates or engages the engine's guardian mode based on the fob's location. These advanced functionalities collectively cater to boaters' fundamental necessities of safety and security.
